Minneapolis: Experience the Star of the North!


Free Night Options and Ideas - Tuesday, February 7

The Minneapolis Hospitality Committee has compiled a list of fun, delicious and walkable options for you to choose from for your Tuesday Free Night.  A sign-up sheet for each venue will be located near registration for those who wish to go with a group.  Please sign up for one of these choices when you pick up your nametag and other materials at the conference, so we can make adequate reservations.

Bus, Cab, and Train to Hilton: Taxi $25.00 | Super Shuttle $17.00 | Light Rail - $1.75 -$2.25.  http://www.minneapolis.org/page/1/getting-around-minneapolis-ground-transportation.jsp
Hiawatha Light Rail: We recommend you hop on the comfy and cheap light rail train (right) at either Terminal 1 – Lindberg or Terminal 2 – Humphrey from the airport and be whisked away to downtown Minneapolis. Step off the train at the Government Center Plaza (5th St. and 4th Ave.).   Enter the climate controlled skyway at the Government Center and take a quick 7 block walk to the Hilton Minneapolis.  If you’d prefer a brisk, winter walk, we welcome you to stroll down the sidewalks.  The City of Minneapolis does a great job of keeping the sidewalks snow-free. 
Free Shuttle: If you’d like to continue your evening by sampling Minneapolis nightlife, you can pick up a free shuttle along Nicollet Avenue and be dropped off within 1 block of the Hilton. Shuttles available until 1:00 a.m. http://www.metrotransit.org/ride-free-on-nicollet-mall.aspx.
