Hiawatha Light Rail: We recommend you hop on the comfy and cheap light rail train at either Terminal 1 – Lindberg or Terminal 2 – Humphrey from the airport and be whisked away on a 20-25 mile ride to downtown Minneapolis. Step off the train at the Government Center Plaza (5th St. and 4th Ave.). Enter the climate controlled skyway at the Government Center and take a quick 7 block walk to the Hilton Minneapolis. If you’d prefer a brisk, winter walk, we welcome you to stroll down the sidewalks. The City of Minneapolis does a great job of keeping the sidewalks snow-free.
