Silver Society of the ALDE Endowment Fund

Leave a Learning Legacy

In honor of the Association of Lutheran Development Executives’ 25th anniversary in 2005, the Board of Directors formed a heritage society for the Endowment Fund.

The Silver Society is a formal recognition society for those who want to leave a learning legacy to ALDE. You become a member of the Silver Society by making a commitment to the ALDE Endowment Fund of $5,000 or more in cash or as a deferred gift.

The purpose of the Endowment Fund is to build an asset base in perpetuity, and to support educational opportunities for ALDE members.  Each year, the Board reviews applications from projects submitted by ALDE Leadership Teams.

Join the Silver Society and demonstrate your commitment to ALDE’s future. Your support helps ensure that Lutheran and other Christian development professionals will continue to experience learning, networking, and mentoring opportunities for many years to come.

For more information about joining the Silver Society of the ALDE Endowment Fund, please contact Phyllis Castens Wiederhoeft, Executive Director, 1-800-458-2363 x2, phyllisw@alde.org.

The Endowment Fund helps connect ALDE to a strong future by:

  • Providing educational opportunities such as online courses for training those new to the profession and international participation at the Annual Conference.
  • Allowing for start-up financing for new educational initiatives.
  • Sustaining a legacy of learning for the education and support of future development professionals.
