Message Team Description:
The Message Team's purpose is to further expand ALDE’s outreach to Christian development professionals, increasing membership and its diversity, in order to better and more effectively serve the people of God. This is done through meetings of the team, as well as by Message Team Coordinators, who are part of the Message Team and another team, committee or task force, assisting that group with developing and communicating the team’s key messages, goals and objectives. The coordinator then reports all activity to ALDE’s Message Team to ensure that all messages are in compliance with ALDE’s Marketing Plan and works with the Message Team to strategize and develop future communications.
Responsibilities:
2. Develop special campaign for campus ministries.
3. Develop special campaign for outdoor ministries.
4. Develop special campaign for social ministry organizations.
5. Develop special campaign for secondary schools.
6. Develop special campaign for parachurch organizations, especially those working with large congregations.
7. Establish a web review group which meets quarterly with ALDE webmaster.
8. Implement an e-strategy.
9. Create strategy for reaching out to the non-Lutheran community.
Meetings/Reports:
The will meet approximately every two months, in person or by conference call convened by staff and the team leader. Minutes of the meetings will be recorded by one of the members and submitted to the leader and Executive Director.
