 ALDE Leadership Teams

Chapter Support Team
This team will be responsible for supporting optimal chapter performance, including chapter leadership, mentoring programs and other ALDE services.
The Mentoring Committee
is a sub-group of this team.
Conference Team

This team will be responsible for supporting ALDE's annual international educational conference. This includes overseeing current & past conference planning teams as well as establishing goals & objectives for conferences.

Education Team

This team will be responsible for offering excellent and effective educational programming to ALDE members and other core constituencies (Goal 1 of strategic plan). This includes curriculum, on-demand training and skill building, delivery systems, new audiences, and international educational opportunities.

Leadership Development Team
This team will be responsible for strengthening the base of volunteer leadership (Goal 5 of the strategic plan). This includes identifying, equipping, informing, and recruiting members to serve within ALDE's leadership structure.
Marketing
This team will be responsible for launching an integrated marketing plan that builds the image, reputation, and visibility of ALDE (Goal 3). This includes projects that strengthen the brand model and visual identity, communication strategies, and national and international partnerships. Four out of the five objectives in this goal are ranked critical by Board Leadership.
Membership
This team will be responsible for initiating an effective membership growth plan (Goal 4 of the strategic plan). This includes identifying and implementing projects to recruit, retain, and recognize members. Some of the issues facing this group with the new plan are reviewing membership categories, strengthening the retention rate of 2-4 year members, identifying & recruiting new and under-served populations, and cultivating a global membership.
Professionalism
This team will be responsible for serving as a resource for the advancement of the profession (Goal 2). This includes certification, degree programs, legislation, ethics, and publications.
Resource
This team will be responsible for increasing the financial resources necessary to achieve ALDE's mission and vision (Goal 6). This includes expanding revenue streams through current programs and service, seeking new external funding sources, growing the annual and endowment funds, enhancing member fee revenues and exhibitor and sponsor revenue, and encouraging and recognizing church body support.
The Recognition Committee is a sub-group of this Team.
President's Cabinet

This group is comprised of the leaders of the ministry teams. The purpose of the President's Cabinet shall be to communicate and coordinate the activities and projects of the Ministry Management Teams. The President's Cabinet shall plan ALDE's calendar of activities.
