Categories of Membership and Dues
Full Members. Full Members shall consist of those individuals who have professional responsibility in fundraising, public relations, communications or support development; who are Christian and/or serving a Christian agency, institution or organization; who sign the Code of Ethics; who have paid dues for the current year and who meet any additional requirements for individual membership as may be imposed by the Board of Directors from time to time.
Retired Members. Retired Members shall consist of those individuals who have retired from the development profession, who have been Members for at least four years, who paid dues for the last required year and who meet any additional requirements for retired membership as may be imposed by the Board of Directors from time to time.
Volunteer Leader Members. Volunteer Leader Members shall consist of those individuals who are involved in fundraising, public relations, communications or support development as a volunteer for a Christian agency, institution or organization who subscribe to ALDE’s Code of Ethics and the Donor Bill of Rights.
Student Members. Student Members shall consist of those individuals who are enrolled in a degree-granting program of an accredited educational institution, or who are serving an internship on stipend only, who have paid dues for the current year and who meet any additional requirements for student membership as may be imposed by the Board of Directors from time to time.
Dues: Annual dues are $175 for Full Members ($315 for two years - a savings of $35). Retired Members do not pay dues if they were paying members for at least four years. Volunteer Leader Membership dues are $100. Student Membership dues are $50.
