2. What led you to being a development professional?
I enjoy building relationships and helping a good cause at the same time.
3. How does your faith guide you in your work?
Faith is an important part of who I am and I try to incorporate that into my job on all levels.
4. What has been the biggest challenge for you as a development professional?
Working with someone that doesn’t see the big picture when looking forward.
5. What excites you about your position?
Being able to think of new special events to do. Generating ideas and excitement about something.
6. What is a favorite book you have read recently and why?
Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World by Joanna Weaver
I feel like this all the time in my life. Finding the balance is always a challenge for me.
7. What three things do you like to do besides working?
Scrapbooking, reading, playing with my Pug Dog, Ana
8. What is the most essential quality of a good development professional?
Ethics is the most fundamental quality of a good development person, from that you can learn.
9. Who has been a mentor for you and why?
ALDE Heartland Chapter members have been wonderful. I have learned so much from all of them.

Three years
11. Describe an ALDE experience that has been particularly noteworthy, fun, uplifting, educational, etc.
Listening to Gary Moore and the message he brought to us. I also enjoy the YALDE relationships that I have developed over the years.
