Dick Engdahl and Jim Jenson personally invite you to join us in St. Paul for a celebration of ALDE's 40th Anniversary. Being snowbirds, neither Jim nor Dick attended the 40th anniversary conference in Texas, so they thought there should be a celebration in the Twin Cities. We intend to have time to share ALDE memories and, for those retired, to learn about our retirement careers. 

We are pleased that Laurie Brill, ALDE’s new Executive Director, will be with us to provide an update on ALDE’s current landscape, leadership, and future opportunities. The intellectual capital of ALDE members (both current and retired) is of great value, and we hope you will join us on May 21 to help explore the future of ALDE so that it can continue to position itself as a community of fundraising and communication professionals that is rooted in the Lutheran tradition and dedicated to serving God’s people in the church and the world.

We will begin at 2:00 p.m. and conclude with a reception and then a dinner at 6:30 p.m. If you know of anyone, either retired or no longer active in ALDE, who might also be interested in attending, please forward this e-mail on to them.
