An effective, supportive board is key to mission success. This presentation will delve into these burning questions: What constitutes a strong board member? What is the CEO's role with the board? What are the of mix of strengths you need on a board? How do you effectively manage a good board? What are the Dos and Don'ts? What should your expectations be of board members and what should they, in-turn, expect from you? How do you recruit a good board member? What should you be prepared to share? What do you never share? How do you convey board member responsibilities? The Orientation Book. Plus the dreaded ... How do you fire a volunteer?
